Just The Tip! No.4 – Prevent Rounding

Updated: Jun 24, 2020

Vortica keeps it short and sweet. Just the tip. That’s all. Trust us!

When you are fully reached back there is a 90-100 degree angle between your arm and chest. You must maintain that angle, and never reduce it.

Left image shows correct body to arm angle in the reachout.

Ensure that you do not allow your upper arm to collapse against your chest. Lock your shoulder at the start of the pull, or even open it slightly (as shown in the middle above) and turn the rear knee in and down to rotate the spine - see right

When the disc gets to your right pec area, apply maximum power to both elbow and shoulder at the same time. The motion is slow to your chest, and then BOOM – IMPOSSIBLY FAST!
