Aaah, good old Wraith! Long a staple in many touring pro's bags, The Wraith seems to have that sweet spot of high speed, but predictable flight. Perhaps not as good into the wind as Innova suggest, unless you have less than 100 metres of power - and even then...
Blizzard Champion Wraith is stunning. Not for headwind use at all - this is a pure distance monster. Thrown out with a gentle hyzer angle, and maximum, power, Blazzard Wraith hauls itself a long way downrange before it begins a huge turn to the right, follwed by an equally huge and slow turn back to the left to finish.
Blizzard Wraith is probably going to be the longest disc you can throw, provided you get the height and hyzer right! Use it on wide open fairways, where spread isn't an issue, and aim 15 to 20 degrees left of your target landing zone with a little hyzer, and aim to get it up to about 6 or 7 metres in altitude. Then watch the fun. :)
Chris throws a 154 gram Star Wraith straight from Des Readings bag, with the Baskets Beware Yeti stamp. It's hugely long.
