What Innova says:
For upshots that require a strong, consistent fade—especially into headwinds—look to the Caiman. The microbead gives the Caiman a smooth forehand release.
Drawing inspiration from the Gator, the Caiman muscles its way into Innova’s mid-range lineup with a strong fade and minimal glide—the Caiman thrives in a headwind. The microbead gives the rim a smooth feel, perfect for power forehand throws.

Innova Caiman (Champion)
With arguably the most boring-looking stamp in disc golf today, the Innova Champ Caiman hardly stands out, especially in the muted colours available. But there is nothing boring about the way this thing flies!
With its pleasingly modern-shaped, but rather blunt leading edge, this is a genuine mid-range disc, with very low glide, and a very strong fade.
The low glide number ensures this beastly brick-of-a-thing won't climb when thrown into a headwind, and it will do everything in its power to find the ground as quickly as it can.
It's wide rim is reminiscent of a fairway driver, but the depth and chunky rim dispel that feeling quickly. This thing is pure beefcake, and with its 14mm deep rim, it is highly controllable for forehand shots requiring both power and touch at the same time.
So, while the Caiman might not add much instant bag-appeal to your line-up, its utility and reliability could easily overcome its lack of visual appeal.
Come on Innova, change up the stamp, and give us Star!
