Discraft were first-to-market with this shape of throwing putter, and it is arguably still the best. Not excessively deep, but still a slow-flying disc, Zone is designed to be a driving putter with substantial stability, and able to withstand immense torque of the most powerful forehand throwers.
Somewhat unintuitively, Zone's low glide prevents it climbing when thrown into a headwind, meaning longer throws.
Zone has a big hand-filling feeling which many find satisfying.
Out of the box, Z-Zone is either board flat or has a slightly concave flightplate. The concave ones give a player the sense they can push forward with their thumb, providing extra control and confidence.
In Z-Swirl plastic Zone is translucent rather than transparent - although "Crystal-Z" Zones are sometimes available.
For players seeking the same flight shape but from a different maker, try the outstanding Westside Harp, or Innova Toro.
