Discraft Sol (Z) Paige Pierce Signature Series
Sol is a unique feeling disc, with its blunt nose, shallow depth, rounded bottom rim, and flat top. Due to the rounded bottom rim for the forehand grip, you create a smaller contact patch which makes it more difficult to control for non-experts.
But for backhand, this thing is a little ripper: its shallowness and low profile means it flies fast, and it holds its turn nicely, especially when thrown high to reach far right. It tends to slide rather then cut roll when it touches down on anhyzer.
Its shallowness, and small Speed-4 rim size makes it ideal for anyone with smaller hands.
Its rounded bottom rim allows the disc to leave your hand smoothly, adding confidence and accuracy to your upshots.
In Z-line Plastic Sol is super-smooth and supremely well made.
